Can you believe it is the end of November already? I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. My father came up to visit and eat . We ate Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Yams, Mac N Cheese, Corn, Brussel Sprouts, "Angel" eggs, and lots of dessert.

I'm so thankful for many things in life. My Lord and Saviour the Most, Jesus is my life and without him I wouldn't have or be anything. My family is next. I have a wonderful, loving husband and two beautiful kids.

Soon before you know it, it will be Christmas. I am hoping to treat myself to a new video camera so I can make some new stampin' videos, and get serious about blogging. I would to post something new and teach you all something new everyday!!! That would be a wonderful goal to set for 2011.

Well I have lots of online shopping to do, so I will talk to you all soon!

Blessing,

I will miss a lot of things about Stampin' Up, but I believe the Lord is laying out another path for me to follow. I will continue to stamp and use Stampin Up products, but I will just have to buy them from a demonstrator. I don't want to leave any of my customers stranded so if you would like to order some Stampin Up product online from a demonstrator you can shoot me an email and I will give you a name of a great demonstrator I know that leaves here locally near me. You may also go to http://www.stampinup.com/ and locate the nearest demonstrator near you, but if you order through a demonstrator online your prices will be the same as the prices in the catalog. If you just go to http://www.stampinup.com/ and place an order there your prices will be higher.

I started a new job today, and I'm very excited and yet so many "New" things are happening right now in my life. Hopefully soon I will have my hands on a video camera so I may record some new videos, atleast once a week would be nice. If there is anything you want to learn how to do, please shoot me an email.

Thank you all for your business! Continue to stamp and let me know if I can be of any assistance to you!

Blessings,
As many of you know my camcorder is not working and I haven't been able to make videos for awhile now. Well I still haven't been able to buy myself a new camera, and I've been wanting to make some new videos. So I decided to use my webcam on my laptop. It's pretty had to use since I have to lower the top half of my laptop so the camera points to my desk. Well I thought I would give it a shot and make a video.

I do apologize in advance the light, sound, and quality isn't the best, but for the most part you can make out what I am doing, hehe! So I would like to make more videos, so for now I have to use my webcam until I can get my own video camera.

INSTRUCTIONS (provided by Stampin' Up!)

1.Zigzag-stitch sides of the crochet trim together until you have created a big enough piece of fabric to run through the Big Shot. 2. Run crochet trim "fabric," beige fabric, and cotton batting through Big Shot using Flower Folds Bigz XL Die cutting one 3-3/4" flower, one 3" flower, and one 2-1/2" flower. Sew crochet trim "fabric," cotton batting, and beige fabric together to create three 3-D flowers.

3.Iron Décor Bond to wrong side of each piece of 4" x 28" fabric. Fold in half with right sides facing and sew along long sides, making handles the width you desire (ours are 3/4" wide). Turn fabric; iron flat and top stitch.

4.Create three ruffles for each side of bag by cutting four layers of each of the Deck the Halls fabric using the Big Shot and Perfect Settings Bigz XL Die (cupcake liner). Sew two ruffles together for each ruffle and sew to each side of the bag.

5.Sew Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim on the top of the bag.

6.To create outside bottom of bag, sew a 7-1/2" x 14" piece to each side of 10-1/2" x 14" piece to create a 14" x 24" rectangle. Iron Décor-Bond to wrong side of outside bag bottom.

7.Iron Décor-Bond on the inside of bag top. Sew bag bottom to bag top.

8.Fold lining in half and sew the side seams. Sew across corners at 2-1/2" to create gusset for the bottom of the bag. Repeat for the outside of bag. Turn outside of bag right-side out and slide lining inside. Fold the top of the bag down and top stitch closed, adding the handles as you do this.

9.Crisscross piece of Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim through Big Designer Button.

10.Attach flower to base of handle using Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim.
I have added some buy me buttons and hopefully I can figure these out, so you can purchase my cards/craft items right here on my blog.
So please bear with me if it isn't working. Just send me an email and I will make sure you get the item(s) you want to purchase.

Many thanks in advance for your patience!

Also on another note, my video camera is broken for sure. I can take pictures with it, or use it for live video stream (which I'm currently trying to figure out). So until I figure out the live stream, my tutorials will be using pictures. With me not working, it might be awhile until I can purchase a new camcorder. :(

Well Keep Stampin and look for my next tutorial this week!
Other great features are they lock in place for easy storage so you can stack them, and also they have a raised circle on the top of them so when you do stack them they lay nicely on top of that raised circle. They work best if you keep them flat on your work surface and use your whole hand, rather than just your thumbs like the old ones.

Check out two of my FAVORITE new punches Designs.
The connector inside my camera some how got damaged. I can make videos, I just can't upload them to my computer. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Hopefully I can either buy a new camera or fix the one we have. Just not sure who to call? Any suggestions?

For now I will have to do tutorials via pictures. This way you guys can still learn and get some fresh stampin' ideas.

Thanks for visiting my blog!!
Here is a tuturial on how to make Mr. Fish. I got this idea from http://www.yoyostamping.com/.

Punch out the following pieces: You may pick any color of your choice. Sponge edges of all pieces with a darker color. Add a little blue to the eye.

One (1) Ornament punch - fish body

One (1) Modern label punch - fish fins

One (1) Scalloped oval - fish fin

One (1) 3/4" circle - eye
One (1) 1`/4" circle - center of eye

2. After all edges of pieces are sponged with color add adhesive to the front of the modern label punch out. Leaving both edges free of tape. Adhere the punch out to the back of the fish's body so you only see the top and bottom of the punch.

I had a surprise birthday party for my husband, invited a few of his closest friends and family, and had a nice party. He turned 40 and still looks and acts like he is 25, hehe! I don't have any pictures to post since I was behind the video camera, but I might be able to download that soon and show you a clip. He was very surprised!

Well I changed my blog design again. I love to change the backgrounds a bit, sorry I hope you don't mind. I love to change with the seasons. Summer is almost here, that means more sunny days, kids out of school, and lots of fun! I'm hoping to maybe even start some stampin' classes when I get some free time. I'm not sure if many of you would be interested in that. I could also do them on my blog as well. Maybe every Saturday I could post a new video. Not sure yet I will have to let you know what i come up with. I'm hoping to get better at posting as well.

June 1 the retired SU list comes out of with all the stamps that are leaving us. July 1 we will get many new ones, so no need to be sad. If there is one that is leaving us that you HAVE to HAVE, I will sell it to you at a 20% discount.

Well have a great week, and I'm hoping to post a few new videos this week!

God Bless!
PRODUCT TIP: SMOOCH SPRITZ

To help you get the best results with Smooch Spritz, please follow these suggestions:

•Before each use, shake vigorously until the particles are fully mixed. The sprayer can become clogged if particles get sucked up into the tube.

•Spray in the direction of the arrow on the nozzle top. For best results, spray six to ten inches from your project. For a heavier application of color, spray closer to the project.

•The Smooch Spritz bottles are made of glass. When using this product, place the bottles on a towel or cloth to prevent them from rolling and possibly breaking.

•If the ink dries outside of the nozzle, remove the nozzle and submerge it in a household cleaner (such as Windex or 409) for 20 minutes. Rinse, replace the nozzle, shake well, and spray.
