Tutorial on How to color the flowers from the prettiest kit using dye ink and vanilla smooch!

My video camera isn't allowing me to transfer my videos to my computer, so I thought I would do a tutorial with pictures and some written instructions, so here we go.

Coloring Flowers from Prettiest Kit using Ink and Smooch!

1.  Color your flower of your choice from the prettiest kit using your sponge dauber and your classic (dye) ink of your choice.  In my example I use Regal Rose first.

2.  Ink up your sponge dauber with your lightest color (Regal Rose here) and rub it against your flower.  You may also use reinkers to dye these flowers.

3.  Add second color of your choice where you want highlights.  I added Melon Mambo over the entire flower, but lightly.

4.  Add your darkest color to your edges only for a dramatic contrast.  I added Rich Razzleberry on my flower, using my sponge daubers.

5.  Spray your finished flower with Vanilla Smooch Spritz to add glimmer and glitz!

Hello, I hope you all had a nice weekend!  I had a surprise birthday party for my husband, invited a few of his closest friends and family, and had a nice party.  He turned 40 and still looks and acts like he is 25, hehe!  I don't have any pictures to post since I was behind the video camera, but I might be able to download that soon and show you a clip.  He was very surprised!

Well I changed my blog design again.  I love to change the backgrounds a bit, sorry I hope you don't mind.  I love to change with the seasons.  Summer is almost here, that means more sunny days, kids out of school, and lots of fun!  I'm hoping to maybe even start some stampin' classes when I get some free time.  I'm not sure if many of you would be interested in that.  I could also do them on my blog as well.  Maybe every Saturday I could post a new video.  Not sure yet I will have to let you know what i come up with. I'm hoping to get better at posting as well.

Smooch Spritz

PRODUCT TIP:  SMOOCH SPRITZ

To help you get the best results with Smooch Spritz, please follow these suggestions:


•Before each use, shake vigorously until the particles are fully mixed. The sprayer can become clogged if particles get sucked up into the tube.

•Spray in the direction of the arrow on the nozzle top. For best results, spray six to ten inches from your project. For a heavier application of color, spray closer to the project.

•The Smooch Spritz bottles are made of glass. When using this product, place the bottles on a towel or cloth to prevent them from rolling and possibly breaking.

•If the ink dries outside of the nozzle, remove the nozzle and submerge it in a household cleaner (such as Windex or 409) for 20 minutes. Rinse, replace the nozzle, shake well, and spray.
