Recent Cards I made

MY LATEST CARDS

I made a Sympathy card for a friend of mine over the weekend and I loved it so much I made three more, with a few variations.
 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another Pinwheel Card (see video on how to make the pinwheel) I made using SU DSP  Bella Bleu
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This butterfly (Birthday card) I made I layed some butterflies over a piece of SU whisper white cardstock and sprayed the Silver Foil Smooch Spritzs all over.  Where the butterflies were left the cs white. I then just added a few dots with my Real Red SU Write Marker.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made this card using some SU punches, a coluzzle, kraft cs. and rich razzleberry ink pad. It's very different, not my norm, but I like how it turned out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This card was made with Only Orange and Pink Passion cs from SU.  Using a kaliedoscope pad and su black classic ink.  To get this watery look, I sprayed some watercolor paper quite a few times to make the paper curl, then I stamped my bold stamp into the kaliedoscope pad and stamped it onto my wet cardstock.  I stamped it a few times, and stopped once I got my desired look.  I then dried my cardstock with my embossing tool (air dry works too), then stamped my outlined image in black in the center of my flower.

Hope you enjoyed my latest cards!

Hello All! I'm Debating on something maybe you can help me!

Hello my fellow stampers, sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I've been busy working on some wedding invitations for a dear friend of mine.  I need to get them done by June 1 and I've been working on them 8hrs each day.  I'm making progress but still have a bit to go.

During my breaks I have been making some beautiful cards.  I will post them as well.  I also have been really debating if I should stop selling Stampin Up product.  I LOVE Stampin Up and love the quality of their products, I just want to start using other products.  Even though I sell Stampin Up product and make a small commission it isn't about that for me.  I am more of a hobby stamper, rather than making a career out of it (although since I'm unemployed right now, maybe I should reconsider).   I would love to create and sell my creations.  Stampin Up has an angel policy which most companies do, that states I CANNOT promote other companies products, which makes perfect sense.  So that means I won't be able to share what I create on my blog or anywhere.

So the question is, should I leave Stampin Up, continue to use and buy their product from a local SU demonstrator, and have the option of using other companies product as well?  Tell me what you think.  Leave a comment on my blog, or send me an email to hookedonstampin2003@yahoo.com.

Thanks for stopping by, now to upload my cards!!!

The BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM STAMPIN UP!!!!

Stampin Up just announced they are having a Color Renovation!!!!  This color renovation will not be released until the new 2010- 2011 Idea Book and Catalog is launched.  The Color Renovation will include 4 color collections: Brights, Regals, Subtles, and Neutrals.  There will be 10 colors in each collection which it will include some of our retired In Colors.  The In Line colors they are bringing back are: Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, River Rock, and Soft Suede.  There are 5 new core colors:  Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, and Expresso.  See chart below for new Renovation Color Collection.

Stampin' Up! has done a wonderful job of introducing all the facts about the Color Renovation. And.....what I want to focus on first is the retiring colors. I'm pretty sure they'll be while supplies last. So, if you have a favorite....you might want to order it soon.  All product line that will retire in that color will be cardstock, marker, reinker, and ink pads.  Stampin Up will be retiring 29 colors, see below for all those that are leaving us.
